RMLD Substation 4 Transformer Testing and Repairs
PROPOSAL RESULTS:
April 25, 2022 Update:
The RMLD has withdrawn IFP 2022-11 (RMLD Substation 4 Transformer Repair and Testing) and will reissue the IFP to revise the MA General Law number under which it was issued. It was brought to our attention that substation repairs fall under the M.G.L. c.30, § 39M competitive bid process, not M.G.L. c. 164, § 56D, therefore making this a hybrid procurement that combines public construction elements (repairs) with non-construction services (testing, inspection). The statutory requirements of M.G.L. c. 30, § 39M were not fulfilled, therefore requiring the withdrawal and re-bid of the project.
You will be notified when the new IFB is issued, and we look forward to your participation.

The Proposal Opening took place at 11:00am on Wednesday, April 13, 2022. The RMLD received the following Proposals in response to IFP 2022-11. The RMLD is in the process of a thorough review of all the submitted forms. No vendor selection has been made at this time.

MANDATORY PRE-PROPOSAL MEETING/ SITE VISIT

A MANDATORY pre-proposal meeting, followed by a site visit to Substation 4, will be conducted on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, starting promptly at 10:00 A.M. at the RMLD, 230 Ash Street, Reading, MA 01867.
Proposals will NOT be accepted from Contractors who did not attend the mandatory pre-proposal meeting and site visit..
