Commercial Energy Assessment Program
RMLD offers a financial incentive to qualifying commercial, industrial, and municipal customers who conduct an energy audit of their business.
Qualifying customers are eligible for a rebate of up to one-half of the cost of an ASHRAE Level 1 or equivalent energy audit, up to $5,000. If the customer then implements energy efficiency measures recommended by the audit, they are eligible for a rebate of the remainder of the cost of the audit, up to $5,000. (Total maximum rebate $10,000)
The audit should include analysis of:
- Heating, cooling, ventilation, domestic hot water
- Weatherization, including insulation and air sealing
- Lighting
- Large equipment
Prior to the audit, the customer should send a quote to energyrmld@rmld.com for preliminary review. Once RMLD sends written approval, complete the assessment and send 1) the final invoice and 2) a copy of the audit to RMLD.
