On April 18, 2024, the RMLD awarded its IFB 2024-02 for ‘Office Renovations with support from other Trades’ contract to Page Building Construction Company, Inc. for a total amount of $253,234.00.

BID INFORMATION:
The RMLD seeks sealed bids for its IFB 2024-02 ‘Office Renovations including supporting work of other Trades, and related work' project.
This is a prevailing wage project, and the current Prevailing Wage Sheets are included as Section I within the package.
An Optional pre-bid conference and inspection will be held at RMLD’s office on Thursday, February 22, 2024, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. Prospective bidders are encouraged to attend.
Sealed bids shall be submitted on prescribed forms furnished by RMLD in the bid package. The envelope shall be marked ‘Office Renovation Project’, and the bid shall be mailed or delivered to RMLD at its office at 230 Ash Street, Reading, MA 01867, ATTN: Paula O’Leary, Materials Manager, by the applicable deadline.
Each General Bidder must be certified by the Department of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (“DCAMM”) for the category of work and dollar amount of this project. Bidders must submit with its bid, a DCAMM Certification and Update Statement indicating additional work or contracts performed or executed after the certification date. The category of work for this Project is General Contractor.
Sealed bids for the General Contract will be received until 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at which time bids will be publicly opened and read.
Filed Sub-Bids are required for the following trades: HVAC (Mechanical) and Electrical. Sealed Filed Sub-bids for the trades listed herein will be received by RMLD until 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at which time sub-bids will be publicly opened and read.
Each Filed Sub-Bidder must be certified by DCAMM in the appropriate category of work and must be eligible to submit bids for public construction projects and to perform the work required. For a Filed Sub-Bid to be considered eligible, a DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility in the category of work and an Update Statement indicating additional work or contracts performed or executed after the certification date must be submitted. RMLD reserves the right to reject any filed sub-bid if it determines that such sub-bid does not represent the sub-bid of a person competent to perform the Work as specified or that less than three (3) such bids were received.
