RMLD held a webinar on Electric Vehicle Charging Strategies on February 1, 2022.
The webinar covered charging basics including types of chargers, where and when to charge, available RMLD rates and rebates, and more. An expert from Voltrek presented the latest trends in electric vehicle charging.
Examples of charging strategies for three distinct scenarios were also covered with the help of panelists who are RMLD customers and EV owners.

Plug-in electric vehicles (PEVs) offer many benefits to traditional gas-powered vehicles including reduced operating costs for drivers and reduced carbon emissions. PEV adoption has steadily increased in recent years thanks to improvements in battery technology, more vehicle options, expanded charging infrastructure, and increased public awareness.
Increasing the adoption of PEVs is an important component in RMLD’s ongoing electrification efforts, as well as overall carbon reduction efforts across the Commonwealth.
