Reading Level 2 EV Charging Station Installations

Reading Level 2 EV Chargers 

Three Level 2 EV chargers were installed in Reading through a Massachusetts Electric Vehicle Incentive Program (MassEVIP) Public Access Charging (PAC) grant fromthe Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP). The project was completed in June 2022. 

Parking Policy

Current parking policies will remain at each location. The Main Street site will maintain a two-hour limit. 

Locations

The locations of the charging stations were confirmed by the Reading Select Board following input from the Town of Reading and the RMLD. Locations are as follows:

580 Main Street Parking Lot 

Lincoln Street Parking Area (by MBTA Station)

Reading Public Library Rear Parking Lot
