Report an Outage

In those rare occasions when power is out here are a few key steps to help RMLD get the lights back on quickly and safely. 

Before reporting an outage:

  1. Check whether the outage is limited to your immediate location or extends to your complex, street or neighborhood. If just your immediate location it may be a blown fuse or breaker issue that you or an electrician can resolve.
  2. Check to see if the outage has been reported and is being addressed. View active outage alerts at:
    • X (formerly Twitter): RMLD posts area outage notifications and updates. You do not need an X account to view the page
    • RMLD Outage Map: This tools shows the location of reported and planned outages as well as current status and estimated restoration times. 
  3. If larger than your location and not already posted, report the outage using the form below.

To report a downed power line or electrical equipment call 781-942-6598 or 781-944-1340 immediately. Do not use the form. If you see a downed power line or electrical equipment DO NOT APPROACH THE AREA. Stay at least 30 feet away and avoid touching any structure, objects or persons in the area.
