Looking to explore electric vehicles (EVs)? Don’t miss the Reading Municipal Light Department (RMLD) Electric Vehicle Show at the Wilmington Farmers Market. 

Each year, in August, RMLD partners with the Wilmington Farmers Market, with the support of the Town of Wilmington, to host an electric vehicle (EV) showcase. Local EV dealers display the latest models and share the benefits of owning and driving an EV. RMLD staff will be on hand to answer questions and provide information on available rebates and incentives. And there are always fun giveaways!

Highlights from the 2025 RMLD EV Show

RMLD hosted the 2025 RMLD Electric Vehicle Show on Sunday, August 24 at the Wilmington Farmers Market.

The 2025 show featured:

• A walk-through format displaying a variety of EVs 
• Opportunity to explore EVs up close, connect with dealers, and learn the benefits of driving electric 
• Information on RMLD rebates, including incentives for EV chargers 
• Opportunity to ask questions directly to the RMLD team 
• Complimentary giveaways!
