Reading Municipal Light Department offers on-line credit and debit payment options. Our customers are able to make convenient one-time payments or are able set up automatic monthly payments insuring that they do not miss any prompt payment discounts.
Reading Municipal Light Department has an Energy Star Appliance Rebate Program which originated in 2002. To better serve our customers, we have offered rebates for additional appliances over the years since our program started. Our customers have received well over $125,000 in rebates since we began. We offer rebates for the following Energy Star products:
- electric heat pump water heaters
- central air conditioning units
- air source heat pumps
- room air conditioners
- refrigerators
- washing machines
- dishwashers
- dehumidifiers
- programmable thermostats
- ceiling fans
