RMLD offers free home energy evaluations to residential customers who are interested in implementing energy efficiency and conservation measures. RMLD's Energy Efficiency Engineer will evaluate your home, identifying low to no cost efficiency measure to energy saving investments.
The Energy Efficiency Engineer will make an evaluation of energy savings opportunities and recommend a plan of action for the energy efficiency and conservation measures identified. Using a combination of available customer history, plus data obtained from specific equipment such as lighting, air conditioning, domestic hot water, electrical appliances, building shell, an energy use baseline will be developed.
The evaluation can be combined with RMLD's residential rebate programs. The process starts with a homeowner contacting the Energy Efficiency Engineer to set up a home visit.
